AGION ANTI STINK

We all know riding deep snow is a workout and when we workout we sweat. To help keep your first layers stink free and feeling fresh we have partnered with Sciessent to treat our Oyuki Hitatech™ base layers with their Agion antimicrobial technology treatment. Sciessent’s Agion antimicrobial treatment is a Silver Ion based treatment that is designed to release its antimicrobial components only when conditions for bacteria growth are present, such as when you are sweating or directly afterwards. This capability results in the longest lasting protection against microbes and smell. Sciessent’s Agion antimicrobial treatment is EPA Registered and Bluesign approved. It also keeps your base layers out of the wash for longer – meaning less water usage.

We chose to use Sciessent’s Agion antimicrobial treatment after searching the market for the best anti-stink product available that is also safe for your body and the environment. Many Companies who develop anti-stink treatments will refuse to disclose what chemicals are used in their product and so if there was a chance that these undisclosed chemicals may cause harm to the human body or our waterways and animals, we wanted to avoid this. We chose to use the Agion antimicrobial treatment because they use a natural silver-based compound to build their product which is not toxic to humans or animals. In excess to this – alternative uncontrolled antimicrobial technologies may fail to maintain and optimal level of silver like Agion does, resulting in poor durability and inconsistent performance.
